Thanks to this thread I can set the switches and require only 1 quarter to vend:

That means I only have to swap out the casino bucket inside half as often as before.
I've read that this coin mech won't freevend, but can I at least set it to return every coin to the front slot so I only have to keep 1 quarter in the cycle?
