I believe Jim was right on the money! But this might be
just the machine for your Uncle. The coin mech. is clean, the vents
are not kicked in or rusted, no holes in the sides from a water
fountain or bottle rack, the floor is rust free meaning the drain
has always been clear so water has not penetrated through the
seams of the inner liner and rusted the floor of the cabinet and
part of the lower back wall, a problem most 81's have.

This machine has original paint, and it is my guess that a good
cleaning and buffing would make it very displayable. (A restoration is
nice but doesn't Bubba still have a V-63 in pieces)?

I have a V56 in pieces... But I think I've convinced another one of my uncle's to start doing paintwork again.. He used to restore cars as a hobby and extra money.. I may just get this machine finished yet biggrin

I didn't think the machine was in that bad of shape either. He knows what they are going for restored also..

Well, my uncle won the machine... He is having it picked up tomorrow... He is already looking for chrome plating, and a few other things... I think I created a monster...  biggrin

He is going to send me some pictures next week when he gets a good look at it. I'll put up some pics when I get them.
