Terry - you do amazing work.  The paint is blinding with your *old* digital camera.  Was this one for a customer or just for fun?

If I remember correctly, that machine looked OK before it was restored but you made it look better than new.

Great work Terry!
Did the customer want the fishtail logo or was it your own touch?
Most originals that I have seen had the traditional Cav sides.

In the photo the machine was still on 4" bolts. I use these to "lift" the machine during rstorations, makes painting underneth a lot easier. The original style leg levelers were added afterwards.

The original machine needed alot more work than it appeared. The sign does lit up. These 55's are some what of a chore to retore. This one belongs to a client and is set up to vend cans.

My client wanted something different from the original bland side marking's but we wanted to stay within the era of the machine. The fishtail logo's really set the machine off. When I build me one I will stay with the fishtail logo's
