Ive been bench testing the pepsi Ideal 55 the cooling unit seems to work awesome and gets and stays cold. My question is the compressor doesnt shut down like other machines, It doesnt get very hot and stays warm. Is it supposed to cycle or does it stay on in Ideals?

I'd be surprised if it is supposed to run all the time. Is there a T-stat?

By bench testing, do you mean you have the compressor and coils removed from the machine and sitting up on the bench?

It was up on the bench last month, New thermostat, new wiring, new fan motor with fan blade. Machine cools down awesome, cooling unit is back into the machine. I had it running for over 12 hrs machine did awesome, Its just the compressor never shut down. It didnt get hot just warm to the touch.

Joey - mine did the same thing... before it stopped cooling completely. Found a local guy that used to maintain these systems in a past life. I'm picking it up today. he says it now cools again and cycles on and off. He found that my system had a leak and was undercharged. When I get it home, I'll confirm that it is cycling.
