CoinCo S75-9800B Problem
«

I have a Dixie Narco 440 with a CoinCo S75-9800B when I put change in it goes straight to the coin return.
I tried to wire in a Free Vend switch and I get a click sound from the vend relay but nothing happens when I push the dispense buttons. Any helpful ideas or suggestions? I'm new to this and would like to set this up in my shop for pop and beer. Would like to set the price at 5 cents and have done that. But coins just fall thru. Thanks

I have coinco 9200, I get the same prob with more mordern coins i.e. plated ones. I'm not sure if the 9800b does the same thing but you could try putting some older coins thru it and see if it accepts them. Have you read the 9800 manual you can get it at the coinco website

. If that doesn't help, seems like the common answer I've seen is that the logic board is gone. Good thing is that these can be had for cheap on Ebay.

try cleaning the slug rejector (the top piece). I can get gummed up and that can cause all coins to drop straight through.

Remove the slug rejector and run it through the dish washer. This works wonders.

I don't have too many machines with electronic mechs.
After a good cleaning - I have never had any problems with old or new coins. Everybody always says that the new coins just won't work, but I have honestly found no difference.

I had this problem with my CoinCo S75-9800B Turned out nothing was wrong with the coin changer
My machine needed atleast one can in each slot for it to vend anything so if i had any slots without a can in it it would just drop the change straight through

That was the problem, I didn't have enough cans in each slot to make it work. Like I said, I'm new to this and now have a nice machine. Thanks "Ridewithme38" and all others for your help. What a great web site. Thank you
