Looks like your missing the slug rejector, backing plate, and the press down handle. Maybe more? Tom will probably chime in he will know for sure. I have a slug rejector, and a aluminum backing plate, and or a original style steel one thats in rough shape lots of pits in the metal. If your interested let me know.

Those parts and like Joey said, you are missing the mech cover plate. It fits between the crank handle and the mech. There is also another part missing, which directs rejected coins to the coin return chute. Below are a couple of pics of that type mech.
For that mech, you need to find a small door rejector. A nickel/dime rejector would allow you maximum pricing flexibility. You could set it for 5 cent, 10 cent or 15 cent vend.

Collecture,do you take the mechs completely apart to restore them? I would guess you do but was not for sure?

Absolutely! Completely broken down, replated, reassembled, lubed and tested. A few parts are simply polished (mainly on the rejector). New decals and springs too.
