Hi Gang

have always fancied a parking meter and have come across this.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws....=1&rd=1

Seller states that it made by Dual.. but is locked and there is no key.

Are keys for these machines easy to come by??

Thanks

Dave

Dave,
The Art Deco Style  places it more  in the 1930's than the 60''s, but very cool.

i have seen parts galore for Duncan Parking meters, but a search for Dual  in Ebay on this side of the pond came up with one meter, and a lot of ads for the company.
That said, if a key couldn't be found, i would think the lock could be drilled out, and a replacement cam lock could be used, or a locksmith should be able to create a key for you.

It's a very cool looking meter, don't tell Mrs Dave, but I say go for it
