Thanks and a Happy new year to you and everyone else. I too will be gone, we are headed back out into the desert to ride dirt bikes. They are expecting over 80,000 off roaders in the Mojave Desert this weekend.

Too many rookies out on the road for us.
Usually just go over to a close friend's house and pop a bottle NYC time.
When the ball drops, we drink and then get the kids home to bed.
Pretty boring, but it works with kids.
But Happy New Year to all the rest of you party animals.

Wife went to work at 5am this morning. I'm dropping the kids off at my parents at 5pm tonight
and will then go on duty until tomorrow morning. My wife will pick the kids up at 7pm come home and go to bed. I'll get in, in the morning and go to bed for a couple of hours. The wife goes to work at 5pm again all through the night. My turn to look after the kids. Not much of a New Year celebration. We had our time over Christmas.
I'll be thinking of you all as I climb into my bed having celebrated the New Year at least five hours before you. I'm on a rowdy bus. So could be very busy. Hope it rains.... Dave

I wish everyone a Happy New Year. Does anyone else out there have to eat black eyed peas and greens on New Years or is it only us in SC who do it?

Look at it this way: It either gives you a chance to sober up or it's a reason to celebrate twice!
