What do you think about this buy?? Guys said its original, no rust, complete, works and cools. I never really sought one out before but got to like them after buying a rust bucket that I will probably part out. Any thoughts??

Offer him him 400 and see where it goes from there. I can usually buy them for 300-500. I am also getting back to final assembly today on your 81. I'll call you tonight.

I agree - $500 seems a little on the high side.
Parts for these really don't bring a lot.
$250 for the drum
$150 for the doors
I think you would get $600 or so parts value.
I personally like the 33-3D style better than the split doors.

Thanks for the advise guys. I really like the split door model. 500.00 is a bit high. What do you guys think is a better investment. This 33VMC complete and working or a Vendo 81B that is needs a good amount of body work (dents) not sure if it cools, and missing the coin door and everything that goes with it and inside of it (no coin mech for 800.00)Huh? Any thoughts?? '<img'>

I would be all over that 81B.  The coin door and mech. and all hardware can be swiped from a late model Vendo 39 (although the coin entry bezel will have a window in it). Make him an offer now..
