Theres a dealer in town here that has one thats MINT for I believe $395.00, He was telling me years ago he bought out a guys collection of these and had over 160 of these and lined them up the highway and sold them for $100.00 each. He cleaned out this town on Soda machines, I was kinda leary when he said that and then the photo albums came out I was amazed. In one trip he took over 70 machines to California and sold them all off there to dealers. at the time around 20 years ago he could get $200-250 each for them. I tell him todays prices and he thinks im nuts and wont even let me sell any out of his store as he thinks they will just sit and collect dust.

Thanks Matt!
I called Jeff earlier today and he called a little while ago. He said Bill (the guy Marvin referred me to) was the guy to speak to, so I'll wait for my care package from him. Jeff seemed to think that Bill would most likely have the parts I need. If he doesn't, then I'm just going to have find somebody selling bits and pieces (or find another whole one that's cheap). Jeff said that he and Bill were the ONLY guys selling parts for the old scales - nice guy BTW.
Thanks everyone!

Well, I got the packet from Bill (
www.pennyscale.com
). It will cost close to $200 to get all the parts I am missing, but over half of that amount is for the three chrome trim pieces that go on the front ($35 each).
I think I will just get the internal parts and either wait for some chrome to show up somewhere or go with an alternative. I'm not really willing to dump that much into it right now and the trim can be added at any time.
So now it is a $150 scale - still not bad! I probably would have paid a $100 for it initially if that is what the guy had said; however, I would have thought about it a little longer than five seconds.
