I have a Westinghouse WE6 Coca Cola Cooler/Chest.
It's in very good to execellent conditon - All original (owned by grandfather). Paint color is very good, no rust, bottle opener and catch, on wheels. Put water in it last night (no leaks) and compressor cooled water with no problems.
Anyone, I would like to know the true value of the cooler/chest???
Thanks,
Duncan

I personaly don't think that model or any of the other larger water baths are very collectible. However yours has some history and works. If you were selling it you would want to get $400 - $600 for it. They are great for family gatherings out on the patio and look very nice. Enjoy!

Duncan,
Here are some current eBay auctions for Westinghouse 6-case water bath chest coolers.
Number 1
Number 2
Number 3
Number 4
I do not think the water bath coolers are very popular for the simple reason that most people are paranoid about putting something with that much water in it inside their home and; therefore, do not command high prices. Jeff Walter's 3rd book gives avg. condition values as around $400, but most of the one's I see up for auction do not go that high.
