Is the frost on the tube correct? The machine gets cold on the inside walls but the bottles aren't super cold.
How long does one of these take to reach normal operating temperatures so the compressor and fan will shut down?

Notice the newer logo was painted over top of the embossed older logo. Anyone ever seen this done before?

some frosting down the suction tube is normal, sometimes this also indicates a slightly undercharged system, the Bigger Pepsi logo is actually a big decal/sticker, it should peel off, but my guess is the the machine was repainted solid blue, (thus covering up the red-white-blue paint of the embossing) then stickered to attract more customers, after all , bigger is better, right?  ':p' , I'd strip it off & repaint the machine, & have the pespi embossing restored to it's original glory.

remember that this is a convection cooled machine, (no fan inside) it will take a few hours to get the warm bottles down to temp. this is the problem with sliders, the bottles aren't in contact with the cooling surface (unlike a standard dry-chest cooler) & it has to first refrigerate the air, then the air must chill down the bottles, with no circulation fan to help out, this could take a while with warm bottles, which is why they have a pre-cooling area down below the main shelf!)

I agree with Johnnie. This will happen more so in a humid area. A lot of times folks will wrap the coils to avoid this. As for as cooling goes on a slider.......I never consider is a good canidate for a machine to be used in high traffic. The Glasco 50 slider had a slight edge over the ideal in that it had a fan that circulated the bottle area. I thought it was Johnnie G but it might have been someone else here who converted thier slider cooling from convection to air blown. There is nothing like a cold longneck with a bit of slush in the neck!  ':p'

Thanks for the info '<img'>

Believe it or not it looks like they brush painted the machine
the dark blue, and then hand sign painted the larger new
logo on. It even looks like there was some sort of stencil used.
