All,

See the attached photo.  Both of my VMC-56s have these holes in the tank.  They are located behind the door latch.  What are they for?  I don't think I forgot to put something there, but who knows.  Anyone have a completed VMC-56 they can compare?  Thanks.

My best guess is that they were there for the cooling lines of a side mount water fountain.

Here is what mine looks like. There is an unused hole below the latch. No idea what it is for.

Thanks, guys.  My latch doesn't mount to these holes.  If they aren'y for anything, I was thinking of sealing them.  The insulation uis right behind there and I wouldn't want it to get wet.  Again, thanks for the info and pictures.  I'd love to know what they were for, but a water fountain may be it.
