hey gang,
first post. i just picked up a vendolator vfa56z-b. it has a reed "electromech" coin mechanism, model 8751.
anyone have any information on this mech?

Sorry I don't. It may be possible to replace with a Coinco which is very common.

thank you for the welcome. i'm keeping my eye on ebay for one. i may set-up the free vend option, while i'm waiting. i've got a bbq coming up and would like to have the machine ready for all the drinks.

Greg, never seen one of those before but it looks real similar to the Coinco's. What's the problem?
Free-vend will get the machine operating and let you know if the mech is toast or if it is something within the vending side.

Wow! I haven't seen one of those for years and years. If memory serves it is just an early version of a single price by a company other than the big boys of the time. A coinco should be able to replace it.
