Hey guys,
I was driving around and saw this cooler in someone's carport.
I was thinking about knocking at the door and seeing if they want to sell it, but I wanted to know what I was going after.
I snapped a shot from the street.
Can anyone identify this? It looks to be a Westinghouse, but I am no expert.
What kind of value would you put on it?
Tom

Looks like a Westinghouse or Cavalier 6-case (posssibly a 6 case master "wet type" if it has a stainless steel lid on the other side with a window in it)to me post war "Bow-out" chest cooler (westinghouses used two hinges on the lids, while cavalier used three hinges on the larger chest coolers)
looks like there's no compressor from this angle so it could be an ice chest too Hmmm '<img'> maybe 250-350 for an Ice chest in primo condition would be fair in my book to go for (the cheaper the better! ':<img:'>  around $ 350-500 for an electric,
dry-chest  wet chest types look cool with all that extra chrome, but aren't as popular for actual use, (too messy, & maintenace of the water in it)
