Hi everyone. Haven't been on here in quite a while. I just bought this machine on ebay last nite. It's about 10 minutes from me, so that was a bonus. Did I get an alright deal??

For $200 and no shipping? Seems pretty good to me.
Seems like there are a lot of Pepsi machine like
this
popping up lately.
Make sure you stick around a little now!

I got it home today. It's in pretty decent shape really (at least I think it is?). I'm gonna try to clean it up a bit tomorrow. I'll try to get some pic's of the inside of it for you to see.

Well she's cleaned up. It cleaned up rather easily. I'll get some pic's tomorrow nite. It runs pretty quiet. The changer is set up for $.25 and seems to work ok. It makes a funny buzzing noise when ya drop the quarter in but it works. The only thing that I can find wrong is that the lights don't work. The flourescent tube is there but doesn't light up. Also the bulbs for the "correct change only" sign is missing as well as the bulb in the glass door area. Anybody know what type of bulbs this would take to replace? I'm thinking that the ballast is bad for the flourescent tube too. But at least it gets cold and the vending mechanism seems to be ok.

The small bulbs for the correct change and in the door light are just nightlight bulbs. There are two wattages for nightlight bulbs. You want the lower of the two as the higher can melt the use correct change lense. I have had a couple machines just like yours. I really like that version of the 56. It is something different. I have a few parts for it if you need anything. I have a couple coin bezels and bottle opener/correct change bezels if you need anything.

Joshua:
Did you restore the Square top to a Frosty theme? It looks great. Can you post a couple of other pictures of it? Here is what I picked up today. I am thinking of doing a Dad's root beer theme. Decals anyone? I may have to make them myself.
