'<img'> I just had my Vendo 63 restored and the guy said that he put in a new compressor.  It looks great but the compressor seems loud to me.  Question?  How loud should a new compressor be?  I've checked for vibration and he said I might consider using steariform on one of the sides of the machine to quite the noise.   I have this machine in the same room as my TV and every 20 minutes the machine kicks on and it's really noticeable.    I’ve felt around the machine for loose parts and the fan seems to be alined OK -  New fan motor.

Should be a bit louder than your refrigerator. A noticable sound of the compressor and fan running, but not a loud metallic or roaring sound. Unless something is viberating. Have you checked for loose, bent or cracked fan blade. Good luck, hope you straighten it out.
