Vendo 63 question
«
on:
June 17, 2005, 11:50:36 am »
I am working on getting a Vendo 63. My question about it is, does it take bottles only, or does it take cans? If it doesn't take cans, can it be converted to take them.
Thanks.

Vendo sold a can vending mechanism. They sometimes come up on ebay, but I'm not sure how much - plus I think you would have to replace the whole vending rack!
Why bother though? Everything tastes sooooo much better out of a glass bottle!

Ok, so it is possible. But I do agree with you. The glass bottles are the best. My only reason for wanting to do cans is for the price. Cans are so much cheaper than anything I can find in the bottles... Unless you happen to know of a cheap place to get bottles?

But thanks for your reply.

Ditane,
Sam's Club, Costco, or any warehouse type store has better prices than you are going to find online or at your local supermarket.
I've had sucess getting the corner 7-11 owner to order me cases of bottled Coke (only can get the 8 oz size here), and he's charging me his cost. Course, I make it for it in the coffe and cigarettes I buy from him.
Oh yeah, welcome to the boards.
