I'm trying to hand draw a copy of the wiring diagram from inside the coin door of my machine. It's covered in mould and grime and is falling to peices, but I can make out some details.
My problem is I'm hopeless at drawing and I can't get anything to look right..
I tried photographing the diagram, all you see is a brown and yellow patch with lines on it ! Get any closer and all you get the reflection from the camera flash..
Does anyone have any suggestions ? I suppose I could draw up something based on the physical wiring, but it's confusing because the wiring diagram shows sold out lights, and the machine only has back lights for the buttons !
If anyone knows where I can find a schematic for my old cornelius square-top that would be even better.. but I'm doubtful... nobody appears to have even heard of my model !

Get a trouble light and hold it (or have the gf hold it - the light that is) off at an angle and turn the flash off.

Last resort will be to carefully steam the remaining pieces off and reassemble on a copier or scanner and then try and connect the paths. Long shot but really have no other option that I can think of.
Best of luck!!

Question: What do you call the microswitches that tell the coin mech the machine is vending ? (ie. control the crems)

It's sometimes refered to the "Vending" switch, it normally is held closed ( it puts a 115 volt AC signal on pin #7 on the jones plug) to tell the coinmech/CREMS that it's ready to "vend" , then during a vending cycle, it opens, (on some coinmechs this is also refered to as the "Blocker" line) ie: it blocks the coinmech from accepting coinage until the vending cycle is completed (you pushing the selection button, or pulling a bottle from the stack.)

I thought it was pin 6 ? (pin 6 is CREM, pin 7 is VEND NC)
I just needed the name for my diagram.. wasn't sure what to call those switches.. thanks

I'm making progress with the diagram.. nearly got the vend mechanism drawn up.. (well scribbbled on scrap paper.. still gotta draw it up properly in Visio)
