Found out that the light socket was a do it yourself add on. It is the type that you put two wires trough the back of it and screw the lid so the two sharp metal points cut in to the wire. The other thing that has me curious is the shoot that catches the cans or bottles and leads them to the exit out of the machine is chrome. It is not a dull chrome but a mirror finish on this chrome. I’ve had mirrors that were not this reflective. This is the first machine I have run into with a chrome shoot. My wife thinks the light bulb and chrome is there so you can see the soda come out of the shoot.
'> I just nodded my head and smiled. Well, the Coin Mechanism is bad and I have two sections that do not want to vend. They seem to be jammed because the motors try to run. If I can’t figure them out I will be posting again.

I have seen some chrome one. Just one of those things. Seen lighted ones too. But from what your saying. The light wasn't in the correct spot.

After I power washed the machine (about an ½ inch of grease and six dead mice) I found out that the drain had been plugged and rust had almost eaten trough the bottom of the liner. Some cutting, sandpaper, bondo, primer, and rubberized undercoating fixed that problem. I have two things left to fix on the machine. Here is a picture of the one problem I will need help with.

From what I can tell this is a breaker. When something goes wrong with the vending process this part will kick and shut down the motor (like a can getting stuck). The one circled and the one to the right of it (I found the VERY small piece that allows the arm and little bar to turn together while cleaning the bottom of the liner so it is back together and working
:'> ) instantly kicks when you try to vend. I can unplug the breakers and they both vend just fine. This problem worries me so I am asking if anybody knows where I should start in trying to figure out what the problem is.

Hmm...Looks more like part of the "empty" switch to me ( by the physical location of the swtich) does the little black "breaker" slide off of it's respective connector up on the switch?

In the picture below the red circle on the right is the empty switch and the breaker is circled on the right. The empty switches work fine. I have not tried removing the black part (circled in yellow) and connecting the power directly to the breaker. I will have to try that tomorrow. Today at the Electronic Shop I was showed a Coke Vendo 528. It is BIG!!!! I could live in it and still have room to park my car. I know my truck would have no problems carrying it back to my house but I don’t think I have enough friends to get it out of the truck. It is a machine I will have to think on about getting. Maybe after I clean out my garage.
