All,

I tore down the can rack on my VMC 56 and noticed some type of grease in gate release mechanism that runs vertically up the side of the rack.  I am going to repaint the rack, but I want to put the right grease back in there.  Any suggestions?

Wayne,

I think your best bet would be White Lithium Grease.
I utilize it in a tub container as opposed to spray because I think the spray is a little too messy. I have a little brush that I can apply the grease onto or into the moving parts' area.

My six cents,

I agree with Jim. White Lithium is great stuff. I didn't know they made it in anything other than spray. I am going to have to buy a tub of it. The spray is messy.
