Please excuse my obvious lack of A/C knowledge

In attempting to clean up and rewire my Westinghouse Standard refrigeration, I could use an education of this component.  I'm sure it's the thermostat, but there's so much going on with the coils and the levers that I'm wondering if there's more to it...

There is a screw directly above the coils, is this how one adjusts the thermostat?  Anything I need to replace or check before I reinstall the deck?

Thanks,
Bob

unable to know if t-stat is still operational.screw is an adjustment.have an old cavalier and t stat is part of compressor start relay. make sure there is no other wiring in this control.if only temp control will only have 2 wires
