I've read that a Vendo 110 vends 6.5 oz to 12 oz bottles.
My question is: will it vend modern plastic 12 ounce bottles or to be more specific can I buy soda in plastic bottles at the local grocery store or do I have to buy the smaller glass bottles that the machine was designed for. I checked on the prices for a quantity of Coke (8 oz) and the price (with shipping) ended up being $1.88 a bottle.

You can buy 6-packs of the glass 8 oz. bottles for $2.50 or less at most grocery stores and that way there is no shipping.

Both the modern 12 and 16.9 should work in there.  But the glass bottles taste some much better then the plastic.  Don't forget most 12 ounce "adult" beverages will work as well and they taste pretty good too.
