In a word "No", If you hard wire the jones plug to give you a "Free vend" instead of using a switch, you'll burn out the vending soliniod, if you wish to have the machine set to dispence/vend without using a coin or a switch, you can use some wire to (or some have used rubber-bands) to hold the vend-soliniod's plunger in the "vend" position, however this may not work on all machines than don't use a vending rack like in a Vendo V56/90, etc. should work on a Cavalier with the same style rack, you didn't mention on thing though...What machine are you talking about???

It is actually a newer well not newer but in terms of some machines it is. i have a 1980's style vendo with six selections and a coinco coin mech ...and was actually just wanting to set it to free vend for a x-mass party but looks like i will have to install a switch ...or a dish full of nickels ...who knows thanks for the response happy holidays .
