Hi & welcome! well the value of any machine is based on many different factors, round corners are more in demand than square-corners, however the square-corners have risen in price more in the last four years than they have in the previous 20. (this is natural as the "boomers" suck-up all of the 40's & 50's machines)first off condition, people like a nice, clean, straight, rust-free & original machine no missing parts, & in running condition. an embossed machine will always be worth more than a generic with Decal's/labels/screwed-on-sign's) same goes for the "light-up" square-corners, personel preference & brand identification is important too, A "Coke" fan won't pay as much for the same machine in "Pepsi" a slightly more rare machine may be valued more in a book, but isn't worth as much as a complete more common machine (rare machines = few parts avalible) besides have you seen all the "RARE" machines on Ebay?? I belive I have seen a simular machine on the web somewere (probably Ebay), the one I saw was a Vendo VF56 glass-door with a Sundrop/Golden-Girl Decal on the front & sides, no lightup though. I'd say between $250-650 depending.... OH.. & smaller is better!, big machines are harder to move (no pun intended ) on the open market & down a set of basement stairs, & many people don't have room for many larger machines anyway. up here in the Midwest (Michigan, Ohio, etc.) a "SunDrop" or "Mission" isn't a Brand you see , much more common in the West/Southwest any more than you'd see a "Faygo" or "Vernors" machine in Washington state. so as you can see, clear as mud! . for instance I have a Nice 60's Vendo V90/Coke machine, in a #7.5 out of 10 condition, vs a 60'sVendo V90/Faygo ,which would rate a #5 out of 10 in my book, the buyer bought the Faygo & payed well above the asking price of the Coke, go figure, but who was I to argue? the customer/market sets demand/price. so figure out what the minimum he'd part with it for & go from there would be my advise... Hope this helps you/him sort it all out. OH & By the way I have this really [/U]RARE Town-Club soda machine... just kidding! :'> PLEASE POST A PICTURE it will help a lot, as we need more machines for the gallery too...JohnieG we'd all Luv to see it!
