I have an unrestored cooler that I looked up in the reference book that shows to be an "Atlas Cooler" with Dr Pepper insert signs. It is the type from when I was a kid that had ice/water and the bottles in it.
I haven't been able to find much information on it and really am not into collecting these.
Is it better to have these restored or left in original condition? When I watch "Antiques Roadshow" the appraisers always seem to indicated better value on antiques when the are unrestored.
